The Kids’ Cancer Project funds research to help kids with cancer.

Because every child is worth fighting for.

The Kids' Cancer Project was founded by Col Reynolds in 1993.

We’re an independent national charity supporting childhood cancer research and have contributed more than $25 million to projects thanks to community support.

Col’s grit, focus and steely determination to make a difference to the lives of children fighting cancer earned him an Order of Australia in 2000 and he featured in two ABC TV “Australian Story” programs.

A former tourist coach driver, Col’s amazing journey began in the late 1980s when he was driving his empty coach past the former Children’s Hospital in Camperdown, Sydney.

After stopping to let two young children with bald heads cross the road, he parked his coach and went into the hospital on the spur of the moment.

Touched by the spirit of the children he met that day and their families, Col made it his personal mission to help kids with cancer in any way he could.

When Col was told by the doctors the only way to stop this heartbreak was through medical advancement, he turned his passion and enthusiasm to raising money for childhood cancer research.

Col has since dedicated his life to childhood cancer research.

Col is one man who decided to make a difference and he will never give up until all children survive cancer with minimal or no long-term effects.
